The Step Up actress decided to swap her dance costume for snakeskin body paint, in order to express her opposition on the use of fashion accessories made from snakes, lizards, alligators and all other animals in the new "Wearing Exotic Skins Kills" PETA ad.

Fake snake, mock croc, and pleather are a few realistic and luxurious materials that can be used to achieve the same look—without stealing someone else’s skin.
